What an EMIS changes in your factory.

An Energy Management Information System (EMIS) brings continuous readings from meters, sensors and existing systems into one place. It gives your team a current view of the facility instead of relying on bills that arrive weeks or months later. Your energy-management program is the work your team does; the EMIS is the measured data that guides it.

If you want to manage something, you need to measure it. Minute-by-minute data reveals equipment running off-hours, conflicting schedules, drifting setpoints and leaks hidden by the monthly total.

Natural Resources Canada reports that a properly implemented EMIS can reduce annual energy costs by approximately 5–15%, with 5% used as a minimum performance benchmark.

Much of Canadian manufacturing still runs on disconnected data.

Canadian factories contain remarkable equipment, but much of it is not connected to a shared monitoring system.

Many facilities rely on legacy SCADA systems built for control, not plant-wide analysis: one screen in one room, doing its original job well. Utilities and equipment outside that system are often still tracked through monthly bills and manual rounds.

Continuous data logging changes what you can ask. What did that line cost to run last Tuesday? Is the compressor working harder than it was in March? Why was the water bill up nine per cent? A meter answers all three inside a week.

Artificial Intelligence is only as useful as the factory data behind it.

AI can create real value in manufacturing, but only when it has reliable operational data to work with. If the factory is not continuously measuring utilities, equipment and production, there is little evidence for an AI system to analyze.

Digital transformation is not a one-time purchase. Analytics and AI need reliable operating data first, and that history takes time to build. Starting now gives your team a stronger baseline for every tool added later.

    Then we design the sensor network around your lines and your shifts: what to measure, where it goes, and what it talks to.

  3. 03

    Source, configure and install

    We source the hardware, configure and bench-test it before it ships, and install it ourselves. Most sensors go in without impacting production.

  4. 04

    Configure and commission

    We configure dashboards, alerts and reports around your facility, then commission the system with the people who will use it. Your team learns the platform in the context of its own equipment and priorities.

  5. 05

    Ongoing support and monthly reviews

    Each month, we review the findings with your team, confirm what changed and agree on the next actions. As the data history grows, it becomes more useful for baselines, comparisons, and early warning.
